Location: Paisley
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 - 17:30 (37.5 hours per week)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
The Role: We are seeking a highly motivated District Sales Person to join a dynamic sales team in the logistics sector. This role focuses on securing new customer revenue, building strong client relationships, and driving business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, strong sales skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Business Development – Identify and secure new business opportunities, ensuring a healthy and sustainable sales pipeline.
- Customer Relationship Management – Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their logistics needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Sales Execution – Plan and conduct sales calls, meetings, and presentations to prospective clients, effectively navigating the sales process.
- Pipeline Management – Maintain an active and balanced sales pipeline, ensuring continual business growth and meeting revenue targets.
- Collaboration – Work closely with internal teams to coordinate seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Reporting & CRM Management – Accurately maintain records of sales activity, opportunities, and customer interactions within the CRM system.
- Proven sales experience, ideally within the logistics or freight forwarding industry
- Strong business development and negotiation skills
- Excellent customer service and relationship management abilities
- High level of organisation and time management
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
- Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
