Our client, who are specialists in their industry, have an exciting opportunity for an experienced 6G TIG Welder to join their successful engineering team at their workshop in Widnes, Cheshire.
Responsibilities include:- Perform TIG welding on various metal components and structures
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements
- Set up welding equipment and select appropriate welding techniques based on the project
- Inspect welds for accuracy and quality, making any necessary adjustments or repairs
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines at all times
- Proven TIG Welding
- Good communication skills.
- Able to read technical drawings.
- 6G Certification is required.
Our client offers a competitive hourly rate Depending on Experience
The job operates Monday to Friday (Mon-Thu 8am until 4.30pm, Fri: 7am until 3.30pm) but some flexibility is required when needed.
