- Warehouse Operations Assistant required in Runcorn – £11.97 per hour.
Our client have an opportunity for someone to join their successful team at their site in Runcorn.
Duties include- Perform picking, packing, shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring all goods are accurately accounted for.
- Manage stock levels and assist in inventory control processes.
- Operate MHE and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Handle materials with care, including heavy lifting as required.
- Engage in picking and packing of orders for dispatch.
- Conduct quality control checks on incoming and outgoing products.
- Utilise a Warehouse Management System.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
Skills and Experience- Previous experience in a warehouse environment.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is advantageous.
- Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for operating equipment effectively.
- Proficiency in materials handling techniques is essential.
- Experience with picking, packing, and quality control processes is desirable.
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a plus.
- A valid forklift licence would be an advantage but is not mandatory as training can be provided.
The position operates on Days Monday to Friday.
The rate of pay is £11.97 Per hour
