Rate of Pay: £12 per hour
Hours: Full-time, 7:30 am - 4:45 pm Monday to Thursday, 8:00 am - 12:00 pm Friday

We are seeking a dedicated Process/General Operative to join our clients team in Thornliebank within an engineering workshop environment. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role, ideally within a workshop setting. This role requires someone hands-on, adaptable, and committed to supporting the production process to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with various tasks across the production line to meet daily workshop targets
- Engage in hands-on work in the engineering workshop, supporting production processes
- Operate machinery and tools safely and effectively, following all health and safety guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring tools and equipment are stored correctly
- Support the team with any additional tasks required to keep production flowing smoothly
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience as a process or general operative in a manufacturing or engineering workshop environment
- Experience with shot blasting (highly beneficial, though not essential)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable and punctual with a positive approach to work
